From disposable to reusables

From 2024, disposable coffee cups will be banned

From 2024, drinking coffee & tea in the office will change. The disposable cups will no longer be allowed to be used. It will therefore become a lot more normal to drink coffee and tea from a reusable mug.

You will also no longer be allowed to serve coffee in disposable cups at to-go locations. From now on you will have to provide a reusable cup, cup or mug.

Although disposable coffee cups in the office sometimes appear to be made of paper, many of these disposables contain a layer of plastic to hold hot drinks such as tea and coffee. These packaging are difficult to recycle, meaning that much of the material is ultimately not recycled but incinerated. These disposable coffee cups will therefore also be banned from 2024.

Disposable ban

In the Netherlands, approximately 19 million disposable cups and food packaging are used and thrown away every day. That is approximately 7 billion units per year. With the disposable ban and the switch to reusable alternatives, the use of single-use plastics should be reduced by 40% by 2026.

Your own logo on a cup or beaker?

We are happy to help you print your cups or cups. By providing your reusables with a logo you ensure a personal and uniform appearance. The logo is applied in a sustainable way, which ensures long-term use:

Your logo or design is printed on a transfer, a sticker that is moistened and applied to the porcelain.
The product is then placed in the oven. The high temperature causes the film to evaporate and the ceramic paint to fuse with the glaze on the porcelain. The result is a dishwasher safe product.
