This Horeca chopping axe GoldGlocke is designed for the heavier work in the kitchen. A handy kitchen aid for splitting large pieces of meat and bones. The series of kitchen knives and chef's knives, of which this Horeca chopping axe is part, have been used for at least 100 years in the top Horeca and institutional world. The blade is forged with great precision from the best knife steel that all German manufacturers work with, namely X50CrMoV15.
X stands for stainless, 50 for 0.50% carbon and 15 for 15% chrome, vanadium and molybdenum. It is the lighter axe in the program. Blade length 15 cm. Total length 31 cm.
Also available is the heavier 1.1kg hatchet - GoldGlocke .
Both knives feature a seamlessly connected handle. The whole is excellent to clean in industrial dishwashers for optimum hygiene.
