F2D Vintage Revive gold - 18/8
Maintenance instructions PVD specifications:
Wash the cutlery carefully by hand before first use. The cutlery will be used intensively, so it is of great importance to maintain it properly. Avoid contact with scouring pads, bleach, and the use of soda. Rinse off residue immediately or wash the cutlery immediately after use. Prolonged exposure to salt and food acids causes damage. Also, do not soak the cutlery. Use a soft cloth to dry the cutlery after washing.
The colored PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) cutlery in gold, copper, or black features a thin titanium coating that ensures a vibrant color. The PVD cutlery is dishwasher safe provided you follow the instructions below:
- For the optimal performance of the detergent and thermal disinfection, the machine must be properly adjusted.
- Rinse off food residues before placing the cutlery in the dishwasher. Prolonged exposure to food salts and acids can cause damage to the cutlery.
- Avoid harsh cleaning agents, as these can damage the cutlery.
- Use cleaning agents with a phosphate content of 3% or lower.
- Use cleaning agents that are pH neutral.
- Select the washing program with a maximum temperature of 40°C.
- Place the knives separately from the forks and/or spoons in the cutlery basket to prevent contact corrosion.
- Knives are made of a different type of steel than forks and spoons. Touching different types of steel can cause damage.
- Remove the cutlery from the dishwasher as soon as the program is finished and wipe it dry with a soft cloth to prevent stains.
- Remove water stains with a soft cloth to preserve the shine.
Please note that colored PVD cutlery will still fade over time, even if the above maintenance instructions are followed.
