The Paris Nature 12 cm salt mill is committed to a rigorous material upgrading process. In the production of this mill, Peugeot prioritizes the conservation and recycling of wood, a vital raw material for the production of its mills, by upgrading components that were previously discarded due to their visually rough appearance. These parts, whose intrinsic qualities remain intact and the mill's performance unchanged, are enhanced by the creation of a unique texture through a sandblasting process. The body of the Paris Nature 12 cm mill is then protected with an ecological, plant-based varnish. This varnish allows the wood to retain a very natural appearance and ensures the mill's longevity and durability. The Paris Nature 12 cm salt mill is filled with rock salt from the Alps and preserved in its original state. Peugeot 's Nature range depends on the availability of pieces of wood with visually rough areas and is therefore not permanently and guaranteed available.

The Paris Nature mill is unique. It is entirely designed to use resources more efficiently and protect the environment. During the production cycle of our mills, any wooden parts with visible imperfections are discarded. To enhance these parts, whose intrinsic qualities remain intact, an original texture is applied by spraying ground walnut shells onto the mill. This gives this manual mill a unique and natural touch and appearance. The Paris Nature mill housing, made entirely of PEFC™-certified wood, is then protected with an ecological, plant-based varnish composed of linseed oil and carnauba wax to preserve the wood's natural character and ensure maximum longevity.
