Finish: Wood, natural color. With the Paris Nature mill, Peugeot is taking a new step in its approach to continuous improvement in environmental friendliness. Like Peugeot other wooden mills, the body of the Paris Nature pepper mill, sourced from PEFC™-certified forests, is turned, painted, and assembled at Peugeot factory in France. The difference? The Paris Nature 12 cm mill is made from scraps of wood normally discarded during the production process, onto which crushed walnut shells are applied. This original texturing technique, carried out in a natural way, gives the mill a unique visual effect and an incomparable natural look. A plant-based, ecological varnish composed of linseed oil and carnauba wax is then applied to protect the wood and ensure its durability and longevity. To perfect the tasting experience, the Paris Nature 12 cm pepper mill is accompanied by a powerful, Fair Trade black pepper with fruity notes, sourced from an organic and fair-trade certified farm in the Kampot region of Cambodia.

The Paris Nature mill is unique. It is entirely designed to use resources more efficiently and protect the environment. During the production cycle of our mills, any wooden parts with visible imperfections are discarded. To enhance these parts, whose intrinsic qualities remain intact, an original texture is applied by spraying ground walnut shells onto the mill. This gives this manual mill a unique and natural touch and appearance. The Paris Nature mill housing, made entirely of PEFC™-certified wood, is then protected with an ecological, plant-based varnish composed of linseed oil and carnauba wax to preserve the wood's natural character and ensure maximum longevity.
