Mepal has been producing sustainable plastic consumer products related to food and drinks for over 60 years. Everyone knows the school cups and lunch boxes for children in cheerful colors and with decorations, the extensive line of camping tableware, children's tableware, kitchen items and storage boxes. There is a good chance that you already use or have used one of our products.
For many people in the Netherlands, the name Mepal is synonymous with plastic consumer products. The originally Danish brand Rosti, also founded in the middle of the last century, has a comparable position. In 1993, the two brands Mepal and Rosti were combined into one company.
Mepal has always had its own design department, which has built up a lot of expertise over the years. The mix of Scandinavian and Dutch design appeals to the imagination of a wide audience, but the main point is that the consumer is a satisfied user. The best proof that Mepal is succeeding in this is that many designs have been part of the collection for decades.
Of course, products must (continue to) perfectly match a modern lifestyle. That is why Mepal closely follows all international trends. This ensures a collection with current colors and decors, where the quality and function of a product are never lost sight of. It is not without reason that Mepal's motto is: quality, design, function!
A large part of the production takes place in the Netherlands and all products meet the highest requirements for material, quality, safety and execution. Coordination of production, design, manufacturing and distribution is done from Lochem in Gelderland.
