This GoldGlocke chopping axe is designed for real heavy work. A handy kitchen aid for splitting large pieces of meat and bones. The series of chef's knives that this chopping axe is part of, has been used for at least 100 years in the top hospitality and institutional world. The sharp and heavy blade is carefully forged from top knife steel that all the better German manufacturers work with, namely X50CrMoV15.
X stands for stainless, 50 for 0.50% carbon and 15 for 15% chrome, vanadium and molybdenum. It is the heavier axe in the program. Blade length 20 cm. Total length 38 cm.
